Ecco cosa ho scoperto, e cosa avrei voluto sapere prima.
Negli ultimi 3 anni ho provato un Apple Watch Series 9, un Apple Watch Series 11, un Garmin Forerunner 265, un Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 e un Fitbit Charge 6. In totale, ho speso più di 1.300 € in smartwatch di marche famose.
Ora sono tutti in un cassetto.
Il più economico che ho provato, il Gard Pro Ultra 3 a 119,99 €, lo indosso ancora. È proprio questo che ha fatto la differenza.
I miei vecchi smartwatch li caricavo ogni notte. Una dimenticanza e il giorno dopo era da buttare.
L'Ultra 3 dura più di una settimana con una sola carica con un uso normale. In modalità risparmio energetico arrivi fino a 90 giorni. Lo carico ogni domenica mattina mentre preparo il caffè e non ci penso più per il resto della settimana.
Il primo giorno in ufficio, due colleghi mi hanno chiesto che smartwatch nuovo avessi. Entrambi pensavano a un nuovo Garmin.
Quando ho detto la marca e quanto avevo pagato, uno ha pensato che scherzassi. L'altro è andato dritto sul sito e ne ha ordinato uno all'istante.
Il mio smartwatch precedente era già graffiato e ammaccato dopo solo 3 mesi di bricolage nel weekend.
L'Ultra 3 è certificato MIL-STD-810H, la stessa procedura di test che l'esercito americano usa per l'equipaggiamento sul campo. 29 test di robustezza superati, dal freddo estremo al caldo, passando per polvere e pioggia. Dopo una giornata di bricolage, lo sciacquo semplicemente con la canna dell'acqua del giardino.
L'Apple Watch Series 11 aveva tipo 47 funzioni. Onestamente, ne usavo solo quattro.
L'Ultra 3 copre quelle quattro, più l'ossigeno nel sangue e la misurazione dello stress. Nessuna diagnosi medica, solo un controllo quotidiano di cosa succede nel tuo corpo.
Scarica l'app GARD PRO FIT, scansiona il codice QR, rispondi a qualche domanda veloce, fatto. Nessun manuale lungo, nessun messaggio di errore incomprensibile.
Le notifiche sono arrivate subito, la frequenza cardiaca veniva rilevata, i passi venivano contati. Ero operativo dal primo minuto.
Qui ero il più scettico. Uno smartwatch da 120 €, c'è davvero qualcuno quando hai una domanda?
Ho scritto un martedì alle 22:30. Risposta in 12 minuti. E non una risposta copia-incolla. Trustpilot mostra 4,4 stelle su oltre 8.000+ recensioni. Ho verificato.
Ho provato personalmente l'Apple Watch Series 11, il modello che comprano in tanti.
Ma anche rispetto al modello più costoso di Apple, l'Apple Ultra 3 da 899 €, il Gard Pro tiene testa su tutto ciò che conta davvero.

Without a doubt a great smart watch. Thought it might get some interference from the work I do. Handling machinery with high hand vibration. No interference whatsoever. Couldn’t recommend enough. Great value for money, robust, waterproof dust proof. Tradesmen dream watch.
The watch is great when comparing it to the Apple ultra top spec which I still use. The Gardpro is literally plug and play, battery life is amazing, highly recommend it for those looking for a time piece that pretty much covers everything a smart watch should. Subtle difference in the calorie measurement though, seems to tally less than the Apple does. Suppose it could be down to settings and config etc… either way great product. Need more watch faces to choose from..

I bought this watch for my wife because I was so impressed with my own. My wife has several medical issues that require her to monitor her BP, heart rate and body temperature at regular intervals. She has also started trying to increase the number of steps a day to help herself. The Gardpro can do all of this and more for a very competitive price. Highly recommend.
This watch is for my teenage son and he loves it. He says it has long battery life. He checks his text messages, measures his workouts and progress, and says it fits well. Delivery took a little longer than I was expecting but that wasn't a big deal.
The watch is of a very good build quality, it looks sleek and premium. Super easy to set up and the battery (so far) is amazing as I have not had to charge it yet and it's been nearly three weeks! I would certainly recommend as I personally can't justify the prices of the 'branded' smart watches but with this one you dont need to. Loads of features and all working well. Great purchase and a reassuring guarantee from the company.
Great watch. Love the "analogue" face. Easy to navigate. Easy to check daily steps. Robust structure. Comfortable to wear. Excellent for keeping tabs on walking and cycling distances. Very glad I bought it.
The information in the marketing was backed up by a quality product. Very happy with the delivery time and value for money smart watch which has all the features I required. I was also impressed with the clarity and volume of the builtin speaker. The blutooth connection range is also great and better than I expected. All in all a great value for money well made watch.

I bought a Samsung Smart watch 1st and was so disappointed with the short battery life for the price so got my money back and bought a Ultra 3 and have been amazed with the battery life. All of the functions I wanted in a smart watch work great along with the app so really pleased with the watch and would very much recommend.
